What is Laminated Safety Glass

Laminated safety glass, is a pair of glass sheets made to form one single component by using a resin interlayer and double sided self adhering tape as indicated in the picture below.

The Glass used can be:

Float glass
Annealed Glass
Toughened Glass

The thickness of the interlayer is determined depending on:

Type of Glass
Thickness of Glass
Application of the Laminated Safety Glass
The Thickness varies from 0.8 mm to 2.5mm.
